Assembly
1. Depress the silver insert release button (1) and
open handle completely (2). Make sure silver insert
button is not visible.
2. Insert proximal shaft/insert into handle as far as it
will go (4).
3. Firmly close the handle (5) while continuing to feed
shaft/insert into handle until click is heard indicating
the shaft/insert is locked into the handle.
Ratchet Handle

Disassembly
1. Depress ratchet (1) to open handle completely.
2. Depress the "push" button (2) and close
handle together (3). The proximal end of the
insert will detach (4).
3. Release button and depress ratchet (1) to firmly pull
handle open.
4. Pull insert out at the distal end of shaft.
Assembly
1. Depress ratchet (1) to open handle completely.
2. While holding jaws of insert closed, press button
on handle (2) and feed insert into shaft of handle.
Make sure the two pins on the insert align with the
two grooves on the shaft of the handle. Release the
button. Be sure proximal end of insert is properly
engaged into handle.
3. Firmly close handle (5) until a click is heard locking
the insert into handle.

Disassembly
1. Depress the silver insert release button (1) and pull
insert out from distal end (2).
2. To further disassemble, unscrew shaft connector (3)
until black insulation shaft is free from handle.
Assembly
1. Screw proximal end of shaft into handle until
secure (4).
2. Feed insert into distal end of shaft (5) and depress
silver insert release button (1). Continue to feed
insert all the way in until it cannot go any further
and is securely in place.
Spring Bipolar Handle

Disassembly
1. Depress the silver insert release button (1) and pull
insert out from distal end.
2. To further disassemble, unscrew shaft connector (2)
until black insulation shaft is free from handle.
Assembly
1. Screw proximal end of shaft into handle (3) until
secure.
2. Feed insert into distal end of shaft and depress the
silver insert release button (1). Continue to feed
insert all the way in until it cannot go any further
and is securely in place.
Monopolar Handle

5 mm 45 cm: 250-080-595
10 mm 33 cm: 250-080-231
Disassembly
1. Open handle completely (1).
2. Depress the "push" button (2) and close handle
together (3). The proximal end of the insert will
detach.
3. Release button and pull handle open (1) until insert
snaps out.
4. Pull insert out at distal end of shaft.
