1. Release chain tension by turning the
tensioning screw, located behind the
chain bar, counter-clockwise.
4. The bar and chain can now be removed
by lifting it away from the main body of
the saw and releasing the chain from
the drive pulley.
ADJUSTING
BLOCK
7. Ensure that the adjusting block is
located in the tensioning hole on
the chain bar.
10. Using a screwdriver on the tensioning
screw, turn clockwise.
T
LOCKING KNOB
2. UNSCREW THE LOCKING KNOB
5. The pole saw can now be cleaned with
a brush and or rag to remove sawdust
and oil.
8. Until that the rubber block and chain
bar are free from oil, as this helps to
keep tension on the chain.
11. Tighten until there is enough play that
the chain can be pulled away from the
bar, but not so much that the runners
can be pulled out of the bar.
3. REMOVE THE COVER.
6. To replace the bar and chain, loop the
chain over the drive pulley and place
the bar against the centre alignment
groove.
9. Replace the side cover and locking
knob, but do not tighten.
12. Once you have the correct tension,
fully tighten the locking knob.
