SPECIAL MAINTENANCE

5.1
PRELIMINARY SAFETY OPERATIONS
WARNING! All maintenance operations and repairs must be
carried out using suitable accident prevention equipment, by
specialised and properly licensed technicians, approved by the
manufacturer.
Before performing any maintenance operation, disconnect the
power supply by turning off the switches fitted on the outside of
the oven and/or the leavening compartment and remove the plug
from the power socket.
All precautions are of importance to ensure that the oven
remains in a good state, and failure to observe them may result
in serious damage which will not be covered by the warranty.
WARNING! Some operations, listed here below, need to be
carried out by at least two people.

5.2 GENERAL CLEANING

After carrying out the operations described in point 5.1 above, clean
the appliance as follows.
Regularly clean the appliance in general. After leaving it to cool
down, carefully remove, from internal and external parts, all residues
that might have collected during cooking, using a damp sponge or
cloth and a little soapy water, if necessary. Rinse and dry the areas,
being sure to wipe parts with satin finish in the direction of the finish.
WARNING! Carefully clean off regularly any fat or grease that
may have dripped during cooking as this is a potential fire
hazard.
WARNING! Never clean the appliance with direct jets of water
or with pressurised water jets. Do not allow water or any
cleansers used to come into contact with electrical parts.
The use of toxic or harmful detergents is prohibited.
NOTE: Do not clean the tempered glass in doors while it is still
hot. Do not use solvents, detergents containing aggressive
substances (chlorides, acids, corrosives, abrasives, etc. ...) or
equipment that could damage surfaces. Before starting up the
appliance again, make sure that none of the cleaning equipment
has been left inside.
5.3
REPLACING PARTS IN THE BAKING CHAMBER
5.3.1 REPLACING THE MOTOR
After carrying out the operations described under 5.1 above, to
replace the motor proceed as follows:
- remove the rear panel by unscrewing the fixing screws
- open the door and remove the Rh. tray holder grill and the Lh tray
holder grill
- extract the rear grill
- remove the fan by unscrewing the screw (part. 5, plate A)
- disconnect the motor faston connectors
- extract the motor by unscrewing the screws (part. 7 plate A)
- to reassemble, perform the above operations in reverse order.
5.3.2
REPLACING THE HEATING ELEMENT
After carrying out the operations described under 5.1 above, to
replace the heating element proceed as follows:
- remove the rear panel by unscrewing the fixing screws
- disconnect the heating element faston connectors
- open the door and remove the Rh. tray holder grill and the Lh tray
holder grill
- extract the rear grill
- unfasten the screws holding the plate
- extract the heating element (part. 6 plate A)
- to reassemble, perform the above operations in reverse order.

5.3.3 REPLACING THE THERMOCOUPLE
After carrying out the operations described under 5.1 above, to
replace the thermocouple proceed as follows:
- remove the rear panel by unscrewing the fixing screws
- remove the thermocouple by unscrewing the fixing nut (part. 8,
plate A)
- to reassemble, perform the above operations in reverse order.
5.3.4 REPLACING THE REMOTE CONTROL SWITCH
After carrying out the operations described under 5.1 above, to
replace the remote control switch proceed as follows:
- remove the rear panel by unscrewing the fixing screws
- disconnect the remote control switch(part. 9, plate A) faston
connectors
- replace the remote control switch by disconnecting it from the
omega gar
- to reassemble, perform the above operations in reverse order.
5.3.5 REPLACING THE LOW VOLTAGE TRANSFORMER
After carrying out the operations described under 5.1 above, to
replace the low voltage transformer proceed as follows:
- remove the rear panel by unscrewing the fixing screws
- disconnect the transformer (part. 10 plate A) faston connectors
- unfasten the fixing screws
- to reassemble, perform the above operations in reverse order.
5.3.6 REPLACING THE CYCLIC PROGRAMMING UNIT
AND DRIVE
After carrying out the operations described under 5.1 above, to
replace the cyclic programming unit and drive proceed as
follows:
- remove the rear panel by unscrewing the fixing screws
- disconnect the programming unit power cables (part. 11, 12 plate
A)
- unfasten the fixing screws
- to reassemble, perform the above operations in reverse order.
5.3.7 REPLACING THE 12V RELAY
After carrying out the operations described under 5.1 above, to
replace the relay proceed as follows:
- remove the rear panel by unscrewing the fixing screws
- remove the relay (part. 13 plate A) from the base
- to reassemble, perform the above operations in reverse order.
5.3.8 REPLACING THE BULBS
After carrying out the operations described under 5.1 above, to
replace the bulbs proceed as follows:
- remove the guard fixing screws
- remove the bulbs (part. 14, plate A)
- replace the bulbs using others of the same voltage and power
- to reassemble, perform the above operations in reverse order.
5.3.9 REPLACING THE MAIN SWITCH
After carrying out the operations described under 5.1 above, to
replace the main switch proceed as follows:
- remove the control panel fixing screws and plugs (part. 17 plate A)
- unscrew the knob (part. 15, plate A)
- disconnect the switch faston connectors (part. 18 plate A)
- replace the switch (part. 18, plate A)
- to reassemble, perform the above operations in reverse order.
5.3.10
REPLACING THE PYROMETER
After carrying out the operations described under 5.1 above, to
replace the pyrometer proceed as follows:
