Blast chilling
The display shows the temperature detected by the needle probe:
The duration of blast chilling is established by the set core probe SET after confirmation of the type of cycle.
Press
several times to:
- display the indication of the type of cycle selected ("PoS" or "nEg");
- display the residual time of the maximum blast chilling duration;
- display the cell temperature flashing;
- exit the procedure.
IF THE TEMPERATURE DETECTED BY THE NEEDLE PROBE REACHES THE BLAST CHILLING END TEMPERATURE BEFORE
THE EXPIRY OF THE MAXIMUM BLAST CHILLING DURATION:
Pass to the preservation phase: the display shows "End".
The buzzer will be activated: press a key to silence it and then press it again to cancel the "End" indication.
IF THE TEMPERATURE DETECTED BY THE NEEDLE PROBE DOES NOT REACH THE BLAST CHILLING END TEMPERATURE
BEFORE THE EXPIRY OF THE MAXIMUM BLAST CHILLING DURATION:
Blast chilling continues, while
The buzzer is activated.
Press
several times to:
- silence the buzzer;
- display the time passed from the conclusion of the maximum blast chilling duration;
- display the cell temperature;
- display the "PoS" or "nEg" indication;
- exit the procedure.
WHEN THE TEMPERATURE DETECTED BY THE NEEDLE PROBE REACHES THE BLAST CHILLING END TEMPERATURE:
Pass to the preservation phase:
The buzzer is activated: press a key to silence it and then press it again to cancel the "End" indication.
During preservation:
The display shows the cell temperature.
If blast chilling has a positive result:
If blast chilling has a negative result:
Press
several times to:
- display the indication of the type of cycle selected ("PoS" or "nEg");
- exit the procedure.
To interrupt the cycle

for a prolonged time.
