Shutting down
Always shut down properly when work is complete:
• Remove the wheel from the balancer.
• Remove the cones from the stub shaft. Check
the surfaces (internal and external) of the cones
for damage. The conditions of the cone are very
important for a good balance quality.
• Place the cones and the quick nut in the correct
position.
• Check the thread of the quick nut and stub shaft.
• Clean all threads with a dry, soft cloth.
• Unplug the mains cable from the power outlet.
• Check the power cable for damage or wear.
• Tidy up the storage compartments.
• Clean the display and the input panel with a soft,
dry cloth.
• Remove old wheel weights and other material from
under the balancer. The balancer must rest on its
three feet only.
5.4.5
Removal of the wheel
• Carefully loosen the quick nut or the mounting
studs.
• Do not slide the rim on the threading, but lift the
wheel when removing it.
• Check the thread for damage and clean if necessary.
5.4.6
