Operation
If indication H0 appears
• Exit the OP program and return to the balancing
program by pressing the STOP key (5).
The unbalance on the wheel will be displayed.
• Perform compensation according to the indication.
The optimum optimisation condition has been achieved
and cannot be further improved
If indication H2 appears
Silent running cannot be further improved. However,
it is possible to achieve a further weight minimisation
(indications with code Un.).
Option 1: Weight minimisation
• Go to the program by pressing the FINE (3) key.
Indication II - Un.7 or Un.7 - II appears.
Option 2: Abort optimisation
• Exit the OP program and return to the balancing
program by pressing the STOP key (5).
The unbalance on the wheel will be displayed.
• Perform compensation according to the indication.
Weight minimisation program
If the rim compensation run was omitted, go immediately
to the weight minimisation program by pressing the
FINE (3) key (indication Un.), proceed as follows:
• Clamp the wheel.
• Position the valve exactly perpendicular to and
above the main shaft.
• Press ENTER (1) to acquire the valve position.
Indication Un.4 appears (Fig. 5-34)
• Start the run (START).
The measuring run is carried out. After the measuring
run two indications are possible:
Un.5 - H1
Further optimisation is not recommended, but is
possible.
Un.5 – I (1 reference mark Fig. 5-35)
Proceed with the UN program.
If indication Un.5 - H1 appears
If indication Un.5 - H1 appears, further minimisation
is not recommended, since the measurement values
are below the pre-set limit values. However, it is
possible to continue minimisation so as to achieve an
improvement, if only slight (e.g.: for critical vehicles).
To continue minimisation:
• Proceed as specifi ed for Un.5 – I indication.
