CHRONOS IDEAL™
Intended use: for automatic water flow control in irrigation sys-
tems. Application: for domestic use. Installation: taps outside and
inside of buildings. Working position: vertical position with the ter-
minal up. Working medium: water. Application of the directive and
standards: 2014/30/EC, 2011/65/EC, 1907/2006. TECHNI-
CAL DATA: Min. / max. working pressure: 0.5 bar (7.25 PSI) / 8 bar
(117 PSI). Working temp range: 1°C to 45°C. Flowing medium:
clean fresh water. Power supply: 2 alkaline 1.5V 'AA' batteries (not
included). Time of operation: one season (~6 months) – applies
to batteries. PRODUCT DESCRIPTION (fig. A): [1] G3/4"-G1/2"
reduction (26.5–21 mm), [2] Filter, [3] Terminal with G3/4"
(26.5 mm) internal thread, [4] Device body, [5] Hose terminal,
[6] Gasket, [7] Terminal with G3/4" (26.5 mm) external thread,
[8] on / off / pause button, [9] manual mode button, [10] OK but-
ton. GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS: Before using the product for the
first time, please read the original user's manual, follow its instruc-
tions and keep it for later use or for a subsequent user. COMPLI-
ANCE WITH THE INTENDED USE: This product has been designed
for domestic use and is not intended for industrial applications. The
manufacturer shall refuse liability for any damage resulting from
the use of the device inconsistent with the intended application as
well as improper operation or assembly thereof. For safety reasons,
children and young people under the age of 16 as well as persons
who have not read the user's manual for the device may not use
this product. Persons with physical or mental disabilities may use
the product provided that they are supervised by a competent per-
son or have been appropriately instructed by them. Please super-
vise children to make sure that they do not play with the product.
SAFETY: Do not use the device in drinking water systems. Use
the device only for clean water with a maximum temperature of
45°C. Protect the device against direct spraying water and nev-
er submerge it in water. Check the device for damage before each
use, stop use if there is visible damage. Do not use any sealants
or lubricants to connect the device to the tap. Never pull on the
connected hose. Do not install the device near heat sources (max.
ambient temperature is 60°C). Do not use the device near electri-
cally-live equipment. START-UP: Please insert the battery prior to
using the device (fig. B). The tap must be closed before the device
is turned on. Connect the device to the tap; should the need arise,
use an adapter. Turn on the tap, check the device for leaks. TIME
SETTING (fig. C): After turning on the device, push the OK but-
ton and set the current hour using the arrows, then confirm your
choice by pushing OK again. Next, set the minutes in the same way.
After 30 seconds of inactivity, the screen of the controller will au-
tomatically go blank in order to avoid excess power consumption.
Automatic or manual setting of irrigation working time: Possibility
to set 3 individual irrigation programmes during the day, irrigation
range from 1 min to max. 99 min; frequency from 1 h to 15 days.
PROGRAMME SETTING (fig. D): Press OK 3 times. Choose the de-
sired programme (P1, P2, P3) using the arrows. Confirm by push-
ing the OK button. After pushing the OK button, set the time when
irrigation should begin. First, set the hour by using the arrows and
confirm your choice by pushing the OK button. Then, set the min-
utes, duration and frequency of irrigation in the same way. In the
same way, set programmes P2 and P3. MANUAL MODE (fig. E):
You can start irrigation immediately, without using any default set-
tings, by pressing the "manual mode" button [9]. Then, choose the
duration of irrigation using the arrows and confirm your choice by
pressing the OK button. Pressing this button again stops the wa-
ter flow. These operations do not affect the selected automatic ir-
rigation program. RAIN SENSOR (fig. F): In order to activate the
rain sensor, hold the "manual mode" [9] and OK buttons simulta-
neously for 3 seconds. SCREEN LOCK (PARENTAL) (fig. G): In or-
der to lock the screen, hold the up and down arrows simultaneous-
ly for 3 seconds. TURNING THE CONTROLLER ON / OFF (fig. H): In
order to turn the controller on / off, hold the on / off button [8] for
3 seconds. MAINTENANCE: Check the battery condition. Replace
the battery when the battery symbol on the screen begins flash-
ing. If the battery is low, replace it with a new one. Clean and rinse
the gasket, filter and terminals regularly. STORAGE: Store the de-
vice out of reach of children in a dry, closed and frost-free place
to avoid possible damage. DISPOSAL: According to directive
2012/19/EU. The device must not be disposed of together with
regular household waste. The device must be disposed of in ac-
cordance with local environmental regulations. TROUBLESHOOT-
ING: 1. No indications on the display: Battery low > replace bat-
tery. 2. Leak at the water terminal: Ease the water terminal at the
tap > screw the terminal down again. 3. Valve does not close /
open: Tap closed > open the tap. The minimum pressure of 0.5 bar
is not achieved > provide 0.5 bar. REPAIR: If the actions listed un-
der TROUBLESHOOTING do not lead to a correct restart, contact
the manufacturer for inspection. Any changes made to the prod-
uct by unauthorised persons will void the warranty. ACCESSO-
RIES: Use only genuine accessories to guarantee reliable and trou-
ble-free operation of the device. Information about accessories

CELL-FAST Sp. z o.o. provides a two-year warranty on new origi-
nal products, provided that they were purchased on the consum-
er market and are used only for domestic purposes. Any defects
in the device will be removed free of charge during the warranty
period, provided they are caused by a material or manufacturing
fault. To request warranty repairs, please contact the manufactur-
