Installation
○ The unit is envisioned for indoor installation.
○ The unit is equipped with male threaded water connections.
○ The unit should be positioned to comply with the minimum
recommended clearances, bearing in mind the access to water and
electrical connections.
○ The unit can be equipped with anti-vibration mountings on request
(KSA).
○ We recommend installing shut-off valves that isolate the unit from
the rest of the system and to connect the condensation drain.
○ It is mandatory to install a square metal mesh filter (longest side =
0.8 mm) on the unit return pipes.
○ The unit cannot be installed on brackets or shelving.
○ Correct installation and positioning includes levelling the unit on a
surface capable of bearing its weight.
○ To allow the EQUI-EQUHI units to run smoothly it is recommended
not to mix the drawn air with the expelled air, therefore it is advisable to
channel and expel out of the room where the unit is installed.
○ Flow channelling must always have constant section equal to the fan
flow section. To prevent vibration transmission, the KRMA kit is
available (outlet anti-vibration fitting) which allows the unit to be
separated from the duct.
○ The room in which the unit is to be installed must have an opening
that allows the air to be drawn from the outside through a section that is
at least equal to the surface of the finned coil.
○ The intake can be channelled. The KRAS kit is available (anti-
vibration intake fitting).
Front panel removal
If the passage of the machine through openings is difficult, temporarily remove the front panel and the fan to reduce the depth of the unit.
