FROM TAPE TO TAPE
Prepgr_tion
• Wind up the tape to the point recording
starts.
• Note that recording
is done on only one side of the tape.
• Use only normal
(type I) tapes.

Press the TAPE button.
Insert the tape to be recorded on into deck 1.
Press the •
/ _ button to open the cassette
holder.
Insert the tape with the side to be recorded on facing you and the
exposed
side down.
Insert the original tape into deck 2, and wind up to
the point to be played back.
Press the •
/ _ button to open the cassette
holder and insert
the tape with the exposed
side down.
Check the playback
side of the tape by pressing
the • button
and wind up the tape with the qlql or _=,. button.
4 Select dubbing speed.
The dubbing speed can be selected by pressing the DUBBING
SPEED button. The following display shows the selected speed.
Each time the button is pressed, the display changes.
For dubbing
at high speed:
"H-DUB"
is displayed.
For dubbing
at normal speed:
"TAPE"
is displayed.
While"H-DUB"
is displayed, the I_-, I_1_ and 41_1 button do not
operate.
5 Press the II button on deck 1.
6 Press the • button on deck 1.
The I_ button
on deck 1 is depressed
simultaneously,
and
"RECORD"
is surrounded by red in the display.
7 Press the I_ button on deck 2 to start recording.
The II button on deck 1 is released.
Playing and recording start simultaneously.
To stop recording
Press the •
/ __ buttons on both deck 1 and deck 2.
