To stop recording
in the middle
Press the •
/ _ button on deck 1 to stop the deck, and press the

To clear the editing contents
Press the • CLEAR buttontwice in the stop mode so that the red
line surrounding"AI EDIT" in the displaygoes out, or pressthe
OPEN/CLOSE button.

displayed in turn.

If the remaining time is enough to record some tracks in step 4, you
can add tracks before recording

SHIFT button, press the EDIT button on the remote control to
select side A or B.

Press the numeric buttons to select tracks.
If the playing time of a selected
track is longer than the tape
remaining time, it is not added.
Time on cassette
tapes
and editing
time
The total playing time of the edited tracks may be a little longer than
the specified
tape recording
time, because cassette
tapes gener-
ally have a bit more tape than the time indicated
on their labels.
In this case, the excess time (without the minus mark) is displayed
instead of the remaining
time (with the minus mark) after editing.
