AI EDITRECORDING
By inputting the recording time of the tape, the tracks to be recorded
are programmed
by the AI function.When
the AI function
detects
the possibility
of a cut short through the track, it arranges the order
so that no track is cut off during recording.
Preparation
• Wind up the tape to the point recording
starts.
• Use only normal (Type ]) tapes.
• Load a disc onto the tray.
Insert the tape to be recorded on Into deck 1.
Press the •
/ _ button to open the cassette holder.
Insert the tape with the side to be recorded on first facing you
and the exposed side down.
2 Press the CD button.
3 Press the EDIT button to select the AI function.
"AI EDIT" is surrounded by red in the display.
When
using the remote
control
Press the EDIT button while pressing
the SHIFT button.

When a disc contains 31 tracks or more, the AI function cannot
program the disc.
Press the _
DOWN or _
UP button to designate
the tape length.
10 to 99 minutes can be specified.
In a few seconds,
the microcomputer
decides the tracks to be
recorded
on each side of the tape.
When using the remote control
Press the numeric buttons.
Example: When using a 50-minute tape, press the 5 and 0
buttons.
