4.6 Instalación del tubo del vapor
El humidificador se tiene que conectar al distribuidor mediante un tubo
adecuado para este propósito, como es el tubo flexible CAREL. El uso
de un tubo inadecuado puede ocasionar el debilitamiento y la rotura
con las consiguientes fugas de vapor.
El tendido del tubo tiene que ser de modo que evite la acumulación de
condensación, con el consiguiente ruido (gorgoteo) y pérdida de efi-
ciencia; la tirada del tubo tiene que aprovechar la gravedad para drenar
el vapor condensado de vuelta al calderín o al distribuidor.
Se deben evitar las bolsas o sifones, en las que el condensado puede
quedar atrapado; también se debe prestar atención para evitar el
estrangulamiento del tubo debido a curvas demasiado cerradas o a
retorcimientos (ver Fig. 4.6.1). Antes de la puesta en marcha, se debe
quitar el film de PE (embalaje) del tubo para favorecer un intercambio
térmico correcto.
Fije con las abrazaderas de tornillo, el
extremo del tubo al humidificador y a las
tomas del distribuidor, de modo que no se
salgan debido al efecto de la temperatura.

4.6 Installation of the steam pipe
The humidifier must be connected to the distributor using a pipe
suitable for this purpose, such as the CAREL flexible pipe. The use of
unsuitable tubing may cause weakening and cracking and
consequently steam leaks.
The layout of the pipe must be such as to avoid the accumulation of
condensate, with consequent noise (gurgling) and reduction in
efficiency; the path of the pipe must exploit gravity to drain the
condensed steam back to the boiler or to the distributor.
Pockets or traps must thus be avoided, in that the condensate may be
trapped; attention should also be paid to avoid choking the pipe due
to sharp bends or twisting (see Fig. 4.6.1). Before operation, the PE
film (wrapping) on the pipe should be removed to assist correct heat
exchange.

Using screw clamps, tightly fasten the
end of the pipe to the humidifier and
steam distributor fittings, so that they do
not slide off due to the effect of the
temperature.
