Before first use, the interior of the unit must be cleaned thoroughly with soap suds. The
cleaning remains will find its way to the fat collection drawer, so this drawer must be cleaned
and emptied after cleaning the unit.
The unit has a CEE-form mains plug, and must be connected to a wall socket with the proper
mains voltage. The wall socket must be mounted by a certified electrician.
Chapter 6 shows the required electrical installation.
2.2.1. Pre-heating
To remove the metal odour that will appear at first use, the unit must be pre-heated at the
maximum temperature for at least half an hour.
