Machen Sie sich vor der ersten Anwendung des
Gerätes am Patienten unbedingt mit der
Funktionsweise und Bedienung des Gerätes ver-
traut.
Bestimmungsgemäße
Verwendung
Die Kaltlicht-Fontäne HALOGEN 250-2 twin
Modell 20 1134 20 dient als Lichtquelle zur
Verwendung mit starren und flexiblen
Endoskopen, sowie anderen Instrumenten, die
zur Verwendung mit einer Kaltlicht-Fontäne
konzipiert sind.
Die Verwendung des Gerätes anders als oben
bestimmt ist aus Sicherheitsgründen nicht zuläs-
sig.
Die Kaltlicht-Fontäne HALOGEN 250-2 twin darf
nur mit Zubehör verwendet werden, das von
KARL STORZ als für das Gerät geeignet
bezeichnet wird oder dessen sicherheitstech-
nisch unbedenkliche Verwendungsfähigkeit
nachgewiesen ist.
Hinweis: Es wird empfohlen, nur Original-
KARL STORZ-Lichtkabel zu verwenden.
Lichtkabel anderer Hersteller könnten beschä-
digt werden, wenn die Kaltlicht-Fontäne mit
hoher Leistung betrieben wird.
Eigenmächtige Umbauten oder Veränderungen
des Gerätes sind aus Sicherheitsgründen unter-
sagt.
Qualifikation des Anwenders
Die Kaltlicht-Fontäne HALOGEN 250-2 twin darf
nur von Ärzten und medizinischem Assistenz-
personal angewendet werden, die über eine ent-
sprechende fachliche Qualifikation verfügen und
am Gerät eingewiesen sind.

Before using the unit on the patient it is impera-
tive that you be acquainted with how the unit
operates and is controlled.
Intended use
The cold light fountain HALOGEN 250-2 twin
Model 20 1134 20 is used as a light source in
conjunction with rigid and flexible endoscopes
and other instruments that are designed for use
with a cold light fountain.
Use of the unit in fields other than those indicat-
ed above is not allowed for safety reasons.
The cold light fountain HALOGEN 250-2 twin
may only be used with accessories which have
been designated by KARL STORZ as suitable
for the unit or the safe use of which is proven.
Note: KARL STORZ light cables are recom-
mended for use with this unit. Some manufactur-
er's cables may be damaged when this unit is
operated at higher settings.
Unauthorized conversions or modifications to the
unit are not allowed for safety reasons.
User qualification
The cold light fountain HALOGEN 250-2 twin
may only be used by physicians and medical
assistants who have a corresponding special-
ized qualification and who have been instructed
in use of the unit.

Empleo previsto
La fuente de luz fría HALOGEN 250-2 twin
modelo 20 1134 20 sirve como fuente de luz
para la utilización con endoscopios rígidos y
flexibles, así como con otros instrumentos que
hayan sido diseñados para ser utilizados con
una fuente de luz fría.
Por razones de seguridad, no es admisible la
utilización del equipo en otros campos de apli-
cación diferentes de los previstos.
La fuente de luz fría HALOGEN 250-2 twin sólo
puede emplearse con accesorios que la empre-
sa KARL STORZ haya calificado como adecua-
dos para los equipos, o si se ha comprobado su
idoneidad de aplicación técnica y de seguridad
sin que exista objeción alguna.
Nota: Se recomienda utilizar únicamente cables
de luz originales de KARL STORZ. Los cables
de luz de otros fabricantes podrían deteriorarse
si se utiliza la fuente de luz fría de elevada
potencia.
Por razones de seguridad, no está permitido
efectuar reformas o cambios arbitrarios en los
equipos.
Capacitación del usuario
La fuente de luz fría HALOGEN 250-2 twin sólo
puede ser empleada por médicos y personal de
asistencia médica que dispongan de una cualifi-
cación profesional adecuada y que hayan recibi-
do instrucciones sobre la utilización del equipo.
