ADJUSTING RIVING KNIFE (FIG. 16)
a. Raise the saw blade to maximum height and
set the bevel angle to 0°.
b. Remove the riving knife and the table insert.
c. Place the rip fence on the right side and move
the fence until it touches the tips of the saw
blade, then lock the rails in place.
d. From the left of the saw, use the supplied 5
mm Allen key to loosen the clamp screws
(1/4–1/2 turns) that hold the mounting bracket
(Fig. 16).
e. Reposition the riving knife left or right as
needed to align the riving knife with the saw
blade.
f. Once properly aligned, securely retighten the
clamp screws.
g. Check again for perpendicularity and continue
to adjust as needed.
ADJUSTING THE TABLE INSERT (FIG. 17)
The table insert slot contains four (4) adjustment
screws for adjusting the height of the table
insert.
a. Place the insert into the table insert slot.
b. Place a straight edge (such as the metal
ruler from a combination square) across the
tabletop and insert.
c. Use a flat screwdriver (not supplied) to adjust
the screws. The insert should be slightly
below the table at the front and slightly above
the table at the back.

Table Insert
