started.
2 Electric starter button
Make sure the engine start/stop switch is placed at
the "
" position. Retract the side stand. Engage the
transmission at the neutral position. Press the elec-
tric starter button "
", and the electric motor will run
to start the engine.
Warning
If the engine cannot be started within 5 seconds,
turn the ignition switch to the "
Wait for 10 seconds until the battery voltage is
restored. Then, re-start the engine. If the engine
fails to start after several attempts, contact your
local QJMOTOR Service Center for inspections.
3 Accelerator grip
The accelerator grip is used to control the engine
speed. To accelerate, turn the grip in your direction
and reverse it to decelerate.
4 Front brake lever
Slowly hold the brake lever of the right handlebar

5 Hazard warning lamps button
Press the hazard warning lamps button. The front
and rear turn signal lights flash simultaneously to
remind you of the danger.
Front brake lever adjuster
For ride comfort, adjust the
front brake lever position by
adjusting the position of the
knob with the ring nut. Adjust-
ment may be made by choos-
ing one of four positions. When adjusting, move the
" (off) position.

ring nut adjuster for alignment with the arrow (A) to
get the desired position. And, the brake lever is fur-
thest from the grip at Position 1 and nearest from
the grip at Position 4.
Refueling
When the fuel indicator light on
the instrument panel is flash-
ing, refuel the fuel tank.
When refueling, open the dust
cover of the fuel tank cap, then
