Brake adjustment
(1) The free stroke at the end
of the front brake lever should
be 10-20mm.
( 2 ) M e a s u r e t h e d i s ta n c e
moved by the rear brake pedal
when the brake starts to work.
The free stroke should be 20-
30mm.
Friction plate
Inspect whether the friction plates in the front brake
caliper 1 and rear brake caliper 2 are worn to the
groove bottom mark 3. If the friction plates are worn
to exceed the mark, replace them with new ones.
Brake fluid
After the friction plate is worn,
the fluid in the reservoir will be
automatically injected into the
hydraulic pipe, causing the
fluid level to decrease. The
front brake fluid reservoir is
installed above the right han-
dlebar. If the fluid level is lower
20-30mm
than the MIN mark of the fluid
reservoir, add the specified
brake fluid. The rear brake fluid reservoir is located
in the middle of the right side of the motorcycle.
Ensure that the fluid level of the reservoir is
between the MIN and MAX marks. If the fluid level is
lower than the MIN mark, add the specified brake
fluid. During routine maintenance, the brake fluid
must be added.
Caution
This motorcycle uses D0T4 brake fluid. Do not use
the remaining fluid from the cylinder opening and the
brake fluid left by the last maintenance, because the
old fluid will absorb moisture in the air. Be careful not
to splash brake fluid on painted or plastic surfaces as
this will erode the surface of these substances.
