Technical data
NOTE 1: The higher value applies at 80 MHz and 800 MHz.
NOTE 2: These directives may not be applicable in all cases. The propagation of electromagnetic factors is influ
enced by absorption and reflection by buildings, objects and people.
a
The field strength of stationary transmitters such as base stations of radio telephones and mobile land radio
equipment, amateur radio stations, AM and FM radio and television stations cannot be precisely determined the
oretically in advance. To determine the electromagnetic environment with regard to stationary transmitters, a study
of electromagnetic phenomena at the site should be considered. If the measured field strength at the location
where the 743L500 3D L.A.S.A.R. Posture is used exceeds the above compliance level, the 743L500
3D L.A.S.A.R. Posture should be monitored to confirm it is functioning as intended. If unusual performance char
acteristics are observed, additional measures may be required such as repositioning the 743L500
3D L.A.S.A.R. Posture or moving it to a different location.
b
Within the frequency range of 150 kHz to 80 MHz, the field strength should be less than 3 V/m.
Recommended safety distances between portable and mobile HF telecommunication equipment and the
743L500 3D L.A.S.A.R. Posture
The 743L500 3D L.A.S.A.R. Posture is designed for operation in an electromagnetic environment where HF inter
ference is controlled. The customer or user of the 743L500 3D L.A.S.A.R. Posture can help prevent electromag
netic interference by maintaining the minimum distance – which depends on the output of the telecommunication
device as specified below – between portable and mobile HF telecommunication equipment (transmitters) and the
743L500 3D L.A.S.A.R. Posture.
