Fuse the appliance in accordance
with the applicable regulations and
laws as well as the specifications is-
sued by AHT (see → Fusing).
Only connect the appliance to a
mains circuit with protective earthing.
Do not use extension cords or multi-
ple socket strips.
Do not damage concealed electrical
parts. Do not drill holes in the appli-
ance and do not carry out any other
work on the appliance.
NOTICE
Material and property damage due to devia-
tions (voltage, frequency) in the operating
company's electrical network that are not per-
mitted by AHT.
The manufacturer is not liable for damage to
the operator's electrical equipment or any re-
sulting damage.
Material damage due to faulty electrical con-
nection.
Load breakers or device shut-downs are not
permitted.
Property damage from interruption of the volt-
age supply.
Cooling fails.
Connect the mains connector of the connect-
ing cable to a voltage supply that is perma-
nently supplied with voltage.
Appliance connection
The appliance is connected using a mains plug (see →
Technical data and Start-up). The connecting cable is
used to supply power for both the cooling and device
lighting.
Appliance with IEC box
For technical data, see → Technical data The appli-
ance can be equipped with an IEC box. The connecting

WARNING
Faulty electrical connection on the IEC
box.
Contact with live parts may result in electric
shock. Fire hazard due to sparking or overload.
The clamp of the IEC box must be
fixed correctly and screwed with the
securing element.
For block installation, AHT recommends e.g. the use
of a cable channel with sockets installed in or on it.
With floor mounting, the height of the cable channel
must reach maximum to the bottom edge of the rear
venting grille.

8.2 Fusing

Responsibility
Operating companies
Every electrical connection must be sufficiently fused.
For technical data, see → Technical data
WARNING
Faulty/insufficient fuse protection.
Contact with live parts may result in electric
shock. Fire hazard due to sparking or overload.
Ensure adequate fuse protection.
Observe applicable local regulations,
e.g. for electrical installation and op-
eration of the appliances.
Observe applicable standards and
safety instructions.
Never operate the appliance without
a circuit breaker.
Never operate the appliance without
a residual current device.
Never connect more than two appli-
ances to one fuse. AHT recom-
mends connecting a maximum of
one appliance.

WARNING
Damage to the electrical system and/or
the refrigerant circuit.
Contact with live parts may result in electric
shock. Flammable refrigerant can escape and
cause an explosive gas/air mixture. Fire haz-
ard due to sparking or overload.
Do not operate a damaged appliance.
Do not connect a damaged appliance
or damaged parts (such as connect-
ing cables) to the power supply.
Only qualified staff may replace dam-
aged parts, e.g. connecting cables.
Observe safety notices and warnings for
appliances with flammable refrigerants
(see → Flammable refrigerants).
In the event of damage to the appli-
