12.2 What to do if ...
All appliances are carefully tested for performance and
safety at the AHT test centre.
Contact the maintenance service promptly (see →
Maintenance services) in the event of:

a malfunction (see → Malfunctions during oper-
ation)
–
loud noises or vibration
–
failure of the control and display elements

WARNING
Leakage or residue of flammable re-
frigerant.
Flammable refrigerant can cause an explosive
gas/air mixture. Fire hazard.

Do not damage pipes.
▪
Prior to dismantling and disposal,
open the refrigerant circuit properly
and suck off the refrigerant safely
and completely. No residues may re-
main in the refrigerant circuit.

Only qualified staff may suck off the
refrigerant.

Dispose of components in a profes-
sional and environmentally friendly
manner, e.g:

Insulating foam (pentane)

Compressor oil

Separate collection of electrical and
electronic equipment according to the
valid national disposal regulations
(e.g. WEEE within the EU) and the
regulations of the local disposal part-
ner.

Do not dispose of the appliance with
household waste.
