move condensation water.

Do not use dry cloths or sponges to
dry the appliance.
10.1 Loading
CAUTION
Material breakage.
Falling hazard. Cuts.

When loading, do not climb onto or
into the appliance.
Falling objects.
Impact injuries.

Do not set down any objects on the
appliance.
Opening / closing the lid.
Hands (body parts) may be trapped.

When opening / closing, do not reach
into the opening gap.
▪
Look out for other persons when
opening/closing the lid.
Low temperature.
Frostbite to skin.

Wear protective gloves when loading.
NOTICE
Property damage due to misuse.

Only add goods to the appliance once the
specified temperature for the product has
been reached.
▪
Adhere to loading specifications.
▪
Carefully add goods.
▪
Open the lid only temporary for loading and
removing the goods.
▪
Close the lid immediately after loading.
The goods are accessed by opening the lid from above.

Loading specification
The stacking limit is marked by stacking markers in the
appliance.

Loading is only permitted up to the stacking
mark made on the inside.

10.2 Shutdown and restart
WARNING
Work on the electrical system.
Contact with live parts may result in electric
shock.

Only qualified staff may carry out
work on the electrical system.
▪
Observe the electrical safety rules
prior to commencing work.
1. Disconnect the appliance.
2. Secure the appliance against reconnec-
tion.
10.2.1 Shutdown
Reasons for shutdown by qualified staff

Service, repair (see → Maintenance, service,
and repairs)
Reasons for shutdown by operating personnel
–
Damage to appliance
–
e.g. broken lid

Shutdown of the appliance.
Contact with live parts may result in electric
shock.

Only trained operating personnel
may disconnect the appliance.
▪
Disconnect the appliance and secure
it against reconnection.
Steps for shutdown
–
Move the goods to another appliance with the
same product temperature class.
–
Disconnect the appliance:
1. Switch off the cooling function (see → Operating
elements and display indicators).
2. Switch off all circuit breakers (for fusing, see →
Fusing) of the affected appliance and secure
against reconnection.
3. Switch off the appliance circuit by removing the
mains plug and secure against reconnection (see
→ Electrical connection).
Longer shutdown
–
Carry out the steps for shutdown.
–
Bring the appliance to room temperature.
–
Carry out basic cleaning (see → Basic clean-
ing).
–
Leave the lid open.
NOTICE
Material damage during prolonged shutdown.
▪
Do not expose the appliance to heat radia-
tion.
▪
Do not place anything in or on the appliance.
▪
Store the appliance in a stable operating po-
sition (horizontal alignment).
