2.3 — Unpacking
Remove shipping carton. See Figure 2-1.

Inspect top of generator to determine if optional automatic transfer switch is included.

If present, carefully disassemble wooden frame and remove automatic transfer switch.

Remove four bolts with crating clamps. Carefully lift the generator off the wooden pallet. Do NOT drag the gener-

ator off the pallet or damage to the base will occur. See Figure 2-2.
