Positioning
Place the appliance respecting the safety stan-
dards in force that you find here following
described. Place the appliance so that its back
and sides can be easily reached in order to
make the electrical connections and provide
the needed service.
The appliance is not suitable for built-in instal-
lation and side by side positioning.
We suggest you to leave a distance of 10 cm.
between the wall or surface behind and the
chimney of the appliance.
With particular reference to the ovens, all
models must be placed upon a support, for
example a prover, a stand or a metal table.
Do not ever install the appliance on the floor.
Be sure that the oven is permanently fixed to
the surface where it is placed to avoid possi-
ble overturnings or displacements that could
damage the correct gas, electric and water
connection
If the appliance is placed near walls, dividers,
kitchen cabinets, decorated edges, etc., it is
recommended that this be of non combustible
material.
Otherwise, they must be coated with non com-
bustible thermal insulating material and you
must be very respectful of the fire prevention
standards.
Install the appliance in a enought ventilated
rooms to prevent the formation of harmful
to the healt substances.
Do not obstruct or put on anything on the
gas burnt drain, that is situated on top of the
appliance.
For installation and minimum ventilation sec-
tions, please consult NATIONAL INSTALLATIONS
STANDARDS IN USE. Please pay particular
attention so that the air volume needed for
combustion is not blocked by objects placed
under or around the oven, especially if they are
near holes or slots.
Make yourself sure that there is always such
an air flow that can grant a proper combustion
and a right change of air for the hygiene of the
room.
According to the scavenging system, all the
gas models are classifiable as follows:
Type A1 : exhaust gasses are scavenged in
the room where the oven is installed.
Type B11
: Exhaust fumes are scavenged
out of the room where the oven is installed
through an efficient natural draught chimney.
In this type of installation, make yourself sure
that for all the length of the chimney its section

must be bigger than the attachment of the
exhaust pipe. Above the draught interrupter
there must be a vertical tube longer than three
diameters. The exhaust system must have for
all its length an ascending path with a mini-
mum slope of 10%. Moreover, there mustn't
be any angle smaller than 90". The horizontal
part of the connection does not have to exceed
the approximate length of 1,5 meters. In case
of impossibility of the connection, use a hood
installed at least 50 cm from oven.
NO
Distance from the wall
less than 3 diametres
Type B21 : exhaust gasses are scavenged
out of the room where the oven is installed
through a hood.
The choice about the type of scavenging must
be made according to local laws on installa-
tion of gas appliances.
All our gas ovens are supplied with an anti-
wind chimney which is incorporated to the
scavenging system: you must not take it away
because it is integral part of the oven.
