WIRING (continued from previous page)
2. Connect green wire from downrod (A) to green wire on mounting
bracket (C). [Fig. 2]
3. Strip 3/4 of an inch of insulation from ends of white wire. Twist
stripped ends of each strand of wire within the insulation with
pliers. [Fig. 3] Snip ends after twisting strands together. Repeat for
black, blue (if applicable) and green wires.
4. Screw wire connectors (P) on in a clockwise direction. Wrap
electrical tape around each wire connector (P) down to the wire as
shown in Fig. 4.
Warning: Make sure no bare wire or wire strands are visible
after making connections. Place green and white connections on
opposite side of box from the black and blue (if applicable)
connections.
Turn spliced/taped wires upward and gently push wires and wire
connectors (P) into outlet box.
FINAL INSTALLATION (continued on next page)
1. Temporarily lift canopy (B) to mounting bracket (C) to determine
which two screws (R) in mounting bracket (C) align with slotted
holes in canopy (B) and partially loosen these two screws (R).
Remove the other two screws (R). Now, lift canopy (B) to mounting
bracket (C) again, aligning slotted holes in canopy (B) with loosened
screws (R) in mounting bracket (C). Twist canopy (B) to lock. Re-
insert the screws (R) that were previously removed. Tighten all
screws (R) securely. [Fig. 1]
2. Align posts in blade plate (I) with holes in blade (H). Align holes
in blade arm (G) with holes in blade (H), and then push up on blade
plate (I) until posts on blade plates (I) go through the holes in the
blade arm (G). Secure blade plate (I) and blade arm (G) to blade
(H) with screws (M) and washers (O). Do not tighten screws (M)
until each screw (M) has been started, and then tighten each screw
(M) starting with the one in the middle. [Fig. 2] Repeat for each
blade (H).
3. Insert only one screw (L), with lock washer (N), through blade
arm (G) to attach blade arm (G) to motor and partially tighten screw
(L). [Fig. 3] Repeat with remaining blade arms (G).
4. Insert remaining screws (L) with lock washers (N). Tighten all
screws (L) securely. [Fig. 4]
5. Loosen two screws located on fitter plate and remove the other
screw. Feed male plug from motor housing (E) through center hole
in switch housing (D). Connect male plug from motor housing (E) to
female plug from switch housing (D). Make sure the two plugs
connect securely. [Fig. 5]
