3. Put Loctite ® 270 on the end of the tie rod (on
the rear side of the generator).
4. Insert the washer on the tie rod. Fig. 11
5. Manually tighten the nut (the nut must be M10
class 10) until the washer is compressed. Fig. 12
6. Repeat the assembly steps 1 through 5 for the
other 3 bolts and tie rods.
7. Verify the manual tightening of all 4 nuts on the
rear side of the generator.
8. Tighten the nuts using the cross pattern (see
Fig.13 and 14 of tightening sequence) and with a
gradual increase in tightening torque:
Use a torque wrench.
Carry out the following steps:
 35 Nm*
* Pneumatic wrenches are allowed in this step,
taking care that the tightening torque does not
exceed 40 Nm.
 45 Nm (final tightening torque value)
 45 Nm (tightening torque check)
 45 Nm (tightening torque check)
