Lay branches A13 and A14, green/red and
green/yellow cables, to the installation site of the
heating or air conditioning control.
Cut the green/yellow cable on plug X608 (2), slot 2.
Fit the green/yellow cable end (1) coming from fuse
holder A47, fuse F28 with a socket contact and
socket casing (4) and connect it to branch A13,
green/red cable.
Fit the green/yellow cable end (5) coming from plug
X608 (2), slot 2 with a pin contact and plug casing
(3) and connect it to branch A14, green/yellow
cable.

Clean the windscreen in the area where the
aerial is to be affixed. When affixing the aerial, the
windscreen should be at a temperature of at least
20°C.
The aerial must not be affixed in an area where it
may interfere with the driver's vision.

To avoid problems with the ITS head
airbag, the aerial cable must be secured to the
factory fitted cables using cable ties.
Affix the aerial (1) to the windscreen at a distance a
= max. 25 mm from the windscreen frame. Lay the
aerial cable under the roof liner to the A pillar and
along the A pillar to the left-hand footwell.
The following drawings show a cover for the
passage hole to the electrics box without a
ventilation blower, proceed accordingly in cars with
a ventilation blower.

Mark the drilling points (2) with dimensions A to D
on the cover (1) of the cable passage to the
electrics box and drill the holes with a 3 mm drill
bit.
Dimensions:
A = 13 mm
B = 40 mm
C = 35 mm
D = 10 mm

Connect the holder (4) to the receiver (1), place it
on the cover (2) as shown and secure it with the
self-tapping screws, size 4.2 x 9.5 mm (3).

Insert the cover (4) with the receiver (2) and secure
it with self-tapping screws (3). Connect the aerial
cable (1) and branch A11 from the auxiliary heating
system wiring harness A to the receiver (2).
5 To install the time switch
(optional)

Affix the enclosed drilling template to the trim (1).
Drill the holes shown on the template.
Secure the holder for the time switch (2) using the
enclosed screw and clip the time switch (2) on to
the trim (1).
Connect branch A12 to the time switch (2) as you
install the trim (1).
6 To install the auxiliary heater

Undo the hexagonal nuts M8 (1) and washers from
the bumper mounting. Secure the front retaining
plate (2) with hexagonal nuts M8 (1) and washers.
Connect the 6-pin and 2-pin connection plugs on
the auxiliary heating system wiring harness to the
auxiliary heater (3) and secure the auxiliary heater
(3) to the front retaining plate (2) using two self-
tapping screws (4).

Secure the rear retaining plate (1) to the auxiliary
heater (3) with self-tapping screws (2). Mark the
hole positions (4) on the left side member. Remove
the rear retaining plate (1) again and drill the holes
with a 9 mm drill bit.

Put in rivet nuts M6 (1) with rivet tongs on left
engine support.

Screw rear retaining plate (1) to parking heater (3)
with self cutting screws (2) and screw to engine
support (5) with hexagon nut M6 (3).

Mark dimensions A and B on the left brake
bleeding shaft.
Dimensions:
Drill the hole (1) with a 6 mm drill bit.

Screw the combustion air hose (3) on to the intake
noise damper (1).
Press the intake noise damper (1) into the holder
(2).
Thread the combustion air hose (3) upwards
between the auxiliary heater (5) and the holder (6)
A = 90 mm
B = 10 mm
