• Heat it up until it comes up to temperature.
• During pre-heating, the thermostat indicator lights will flash. Once it has come up to temperature,
the indicator lights will stop flashing and will remain constant.
• Set the temperature according to the food you are cooking, and then place the food on the plate.
• The two thermostats may be adjusted separately for different temperatures on the left and the right
side of the plate, so that you may cook simultaneously.
N. B.:
- When cold food is placed on the plate, the temperature may momentarily fall below the selected
temperature. The indicator lights will flash until it comes up to temperature again.
- When the appliance is used for the first time, it may give off a slight smell and a little smoke.
Warning: Do not touch the splash guard during cooking as it may reach high temperatures.
D. Drip tray
The drip tray is located on the front of the appliance.
• Slide the tray into the base to fit it.
The plug, located on the front of the plate, retains cooking juices during preparation. if you remove
the plug, the grease will flow into the tray.
Warning:
- Never touch the plug when the plate is hot.
- Wait for the appliance to cool before emptying the tray.
E. Switching off the appliance
• When you have finished using it, turn the thermostats to the "OFF" position and unplug the
appliance.
