Buick Skylark 1990-1995

1. Remove the ashtray, then remove the (2) Phillips screws exposed in
the ashtray cavity.
2. Remove the (2) Phillips screws holding the front of the ashtray cavity and lower
section of the plastic dashboard trim ring.
3. Using a flat-head screwdriver, very carefully pry underneath the edge of the
trim ring, remove it and set aside.
4. Remove the (2) nuts holding the factory radio, remove the radio unit itself and
disconnect wiring from the rear of the unit.
5. Remove the original brackets that mount the factory radio to the dash.

Note: Keep the old brackets for
mounting the new radio and discard
the old factory radio.

Cadillac Deville/Fleetwood 1985-1993

1. Remove the (2) Phillips screws from the top of the plastic trim ring around the
factory radio. (Figure A)
2. Carefully lift the top edge of the trim ring, pull away from the dashboard, and
set aside.
3. Remove the radio unit itself and disconnect wiring from the rear of the unit.
4. Remove the original brackets that mount the factory radio to dash.

Note: Keep the old brackets for mounting the new radio.
