Chevrolet Celebrity 1984-1987
1. Remove the glove box compartment
by pushing down on the clip on the
bottom of the glove box liner, then
removing the (6) nuts exposed when
the door to the glove box is opened.

2. Remove the (6) Phillips screws just
below the steering column.
3. Remove the headlight knob by
pushing down on the clip in back of
the knob, then removing the nut.
4. Remove the cigarette lighter
and disconnect its wiring. Grab the
cigarette lighter socket, unscrew the
brass nut on the back of the lighter
and remove the socket.

5. Remove the plastic trim ring from
around the factory radio and set
aside.
6. Remove the Phillips screws holding
the factory radio, remove the radio
unit itself and disconnect wiring
from the rear of the unit.
7. Remove the original brackets that
mount the factory radio to the dash.

Note: Keep the old brackets for
mounting the new radio.
Continue to "Installation Instructions,
ALL VEHICLES".

Chevrolet Citation II 1985

1. Remove the (2) Phillips screws from the trim panel on the bottom of the
steering column and remove. (Figure A)
2. Remove the (6) Phillips screws from the plastic trim ring around the factory
radio, remove the trim ring and set aside.
3. Remove the Phillips screws holding the factory radio, remove the radio unit
itself and disconnect wiring from the rear of the unit.
4. Remove the original brackets that mount the factory radio to dash.

Note: Keep the old brackets for mounting the new radio.
