1. Remove the (6) torx-head screws
from the plastic trim ring around
the factory radio. Remove the
trim ring itself and set aside.

2. Remove the (2) Phillips screws
holding the factory radio, remove
the radio unit itself and disconnect
wiring from the rear of the unit.
3. Locate the Metra Bracket Set #4.
Then, using wire cutters, cut and
remove all mounting tabs on the
Bracket Set EXCEPT the tabs
marked on the back with a letter
"A". (Figure B)

Chevrolet Celebrity 1982-1983

1. Remove the plastic trim plate next to each A/C vent, then remove the (2) Phillips
screws that are exposed under the trim plates. (Figure A)
2. Remove the (4) Phillips screws surrounding the steering column. Push down
on the light control knob spring and remove the knob. Now remove the entire
plastic trim ring from around the factory radio and set aside. (Figure A)
3. Remove the Phillips screws holding the factory radio, remove the radio unit
itself and disconnect wiring from the rear of the unit.
4. Remove the original brackets that mount the factory radio to dash.

Note: Keep the old brackets for mounting the new radio.
