Pontiac Bonneville 1987-1993

1. Carefully unsnap and remove the trim panel around the factory radio.
(Figure A)
2. Then remove the Phillips screws holding the factory radio, remove the radio unit
itself and disconnect wiring from the rear of the unit.
3. Remove the original brackets that mount the factory radio to the dash.
(Figure B)
Note: Keep the old brackets for mounting the new radio.

Pontiac Fiero 1984-1988

1. Remove the (4) torx-head screws from the plastic trim panel around the factory
radio. Carefully pull on the trim panel, remove and set aside. (Figure A)
2. Now remove the (4) hex-head screws holding the factory radio, remove the
radio unit itself and disconnect wiring from the rear of the unit.
3. Remove the original brackets that mount the factory radio to dash.
(Figure B)
Note: Keep the old brackets for mounting the new radio.
