1. Remove the (2) Phillips screws holding the lower steering column panel and
remove the panel. (Figure A)
2. Remove the (2) Phillips screws now exposed on the left tab of the plastic trim
panel around the factory radio. (Figure A)
3. Open up the glove compartment and remove the (2) Phillips screws you now
see on the right side of the plastic trim panel around the factory radio.
4. Locate the Metra Bracket Set #6. Then, using wire cutters, cut and remove all
mounting tabs on the Bracket Set EXCEPT the tabs marked on the back with a
letter "B". (Figure B)
Continue to "Installation Instructions, ALL VEHICLES".

Chevrolet Lumina 1990-1994

1. Remove the (2) Phillips screws from the lower steering column panel. Pull this
panel down to gain access to the bottom areas of the plastic trim panel around
the factory radio. (Figure A)
2. Now pull the top and bottom edges of the trim panel forward, remove the
panel and set aside.
3. Remove the Phillips screws holding the factory radio, remove the radio unit
itself and disconnect wiring from the rear of the unit.
4. Locate the Metra Bracket Set #5. Then, using wire cutters, cut and remove all
mounting tabs on the Bracket Set EXCEPT the tabs marked on the back with a
letter "A". (Figure B)
Continue to "Installation Instructions, ALL VEHICLES".
