Instructions for Use

TPS-compact Mounting

Failure to comply with these installation instructions could result in the
WARNING
pump detaching from the system in the event of a rotor failure, which
could cause property damage or serious injury or death.
The TPS-compact can be installed in vertical position only.
Fix the TPS-compact in a stable position, mounting the inlet flange of the
turbopump to the system counter-flange.
The turbopump with ConFlat and ISO K inlet flange must be fixed to the vacuum
chamber by means of the appropriate Agilent hardware.

Power supply cord: The correct cable for electrical wiring is a three wires
(Ph+N+Earth) cable. The wire section has to be at least 0.75 mm
The TPS-compact cannot be fixed by means of its base or through other flanges
