User Types

There are two types of users defined for the ASTUTE140
Operator. Supervisors and Operators are permitted to perform different functions,
as described below.

Meter functions are grouped under six icons found on the Main Menu

Function
Select to run patient tests
Select to run high and low liquid controls
Select to manage patient, LQC and EQC test results
Select to run EQC
Select to manage (register or delete) test lots, liquid control lots, and EQC devices;
temporarily change non-permanent settings, and view error logs
Select to set/change general settings, manage users, obtain ASTUTE140
information, or view error logs
