SIX DAYS
STARTING THE ENGINE
After getting on the motorcycle as described in the
relative paragraph, operate as follows to start the
engine:
- Place ignition key (1) to
position (the buzz that
you hear when you turn the key to
by the fuel pump which puts the feeding system
under pressure);
- Pull the clutch lever (2), lift the side stand, or shift
gear pedal (3) to neutral, Check that the button (4)
is in
position and then press the start button
(5).
- When a cold engine has just been started, do not
increase revs, to ensure an adequate oil warmup
and circulation.
a
WARNING
Do not run the cold motor with a high
number of revs.
Note
A safety switch is set on the clutch lever support.
This switch allows you to ONLY start the engine with
the gearbox idle, or with the gear engaged and the
clutch lever pulled.
With the stand lowered, the bike can only be started
with the gear in neutral.
