2.1
Requirements for the owneroperator
Workshop/outdoor/field use: The owner-operator is responsible for safety in the danger zone of the device, and should
allow only qualified personnel to enter the zone or operate the device in the danger zone.
employee safety: The operator has to observe the safety regulations described in this chapter as well as has to work safe-
ty-consciously and with all prescribed safety equipment.
The employer undertakes to give the employees clear notice of the dangers arising that are specified in the EMF directives and to
evaluate the workplace correspondingly.

The device operation requires knowledge in the operation of the power supply that, within
the framework of these instructions, does not to be explained separately again .
These operating instructions are only a supplement to the operating instructions of the
power supply which necessarily need to be consulted.
We expressly point out that in particular all those safety precautions spec
ified in the operating instructions of the ORBIMAT orbital welding power
supplies apply without any restrictions or limitations in handling or working
with the overall system (ORBIMAT/ORBITWIN)! It is imperative that you read
these notes before you start working with the ORBITWIN switching device!
