Personal protective equipment
The sole operating of the welding power supply with the ORBITWIN requires no personal protective equipment.
X When connecting and using multiple weld heads, observe the safety instructions and warning messages of the respective
weld torch.
X Observe the remaining risks.

Remaining risks
2.7.1
Injury through high weight
Danger of impact and crushing exists in the following situations:

X Use a suitable transport medium to transport the switching device.
X Before setting up the switching device and the power supply, place the switching device on a stable base.
X Placing of the power supply on the switching device may only be carried out with 2 persons.
X Place the overall system (power supply and switching device) only on stable bases.
X When lifting the overall system (power supply and switching device) do not exceed the permissible total weight of 25 kg for
men and 15 kg for women.
X Wear safety shoes.

Tripping over the hose packages
CAUTION!

X Ensure that under no circumstances can people trip over the hose package.
X Do not place the hose package under tension.
X Ensure that the hose package is connected properly and that the strain relief is attached.

Falling of the switching device or the overall system during transportation, mounting/dis-
mantling or setting up.
Falling of the switching device or the overall system caused by it being put down improperly.
Hands and fingers can be caught in and crushed while setting up the ORBITWIN and during
the placement of the power supply on the ORBITWIN.
Danger of tripping over hose packages lying on the floor or hose packages under tension.
Tripping over could cause the plug to be pulled out so that in the worst case an arc may arise
between the plug and the orbital weld system. Burns and glaring light may be the result.
