3.7. SANIGEN
What it is:
Sanigen is a sanification system that releases active ions
to strike down the microbic charge present in the treated
air and on the surfaces it comes in contact with.
Since air is the vector of the sanification process, there
are no inaccessible areas, hence a complete sanification
is guaranteed everywhere.
Sanification occurs on the surface of food products and
mainly in the environment, which carries 97% of bacterial
contamination on food.
The absence of bacterial charge allows to obtain the
following advantages inside the room:
- better maintenance of the quality of the products under
preservation,
- possibility of preserving different food products simulta-
neously, without any odor commixture
- absence of unpleasent odors.
When to use it:
Sanigen can be used mainly during positive preservation.
it is important NOT to use Sanigen when you are preser-
ving:
- Mother yeast
- Mouldy cheese
- Products that need survival of microrganisms.
How to use it:
Sanigen is installed, when required, direclty in the factory.
The working parameters are set in the Factory Parame-
ters and are a result of the experience and laboratory
tests of Irinox
The user must only enable or disable the sanification
cycle.

6-Sanification
How the sanification cycle works:
• It must be enabled selecting YES in parameter (1-9)
• When the temperature in the cell is ≥ 0°C
(parameter set in the factory)
- The sanificator is activated for a pre-set time
- Once the functioning time is up, the sanificator is
shut down for the pre-set time
- If a door of the CP is open:
∞ The cycle restarts activating the sanificator
- If a door of the CP is NOT opened:
∞ The sanification cycle is skipped
∞ After skipping a few cycles, a sanification cycle
is executed anyway
• When the temperature in the cell is < 0°C
(parameter set in the factory)
- the sanification cycle is not executed
