INTRODUCTION
Cycling is an excellent activity that allows you to improve your cardiovascular ability and respiratory health while also toning your entire body:
buttocks, quadriceps, hamstrings, calves, lower back and abdominal muscle strength. We recommend using the X bike from 20 minutes to
1 hour, 1 to 3 times a week, to get the desired results. This product features an adjustable mechanical resistance system. It does not require
electricity to operate.
SETTINGS
Warning : You must get off the bike in order to make any adjustments.
1. ADJUST HEIGHT OF THE SEAT:
For effective exercise, the saddle must be at the correct height. When pedaling, your knees should be slightly bent at the moment when the
pedals are at their lowest point. To adjust the saddle, unscrew the adjustment knob by a few turns, without removing it completely, and pull
the head to disengage the saddle tube pin. Adjust the saddle to the correct height, release the adjustment knob in one of the adjustment
holes in the saddle tube, then fully tighten it.
WARNING: Check that the adjustment knob is in one of the saddle tube holes before fully tightening it. Never exceed the
maximum height of the saddle indicated on the saddle tube.
2. LEVELING THE BIKE:
If the bike is unstable, on the back foot, rotate the end caps on the tube.

Handlebar heart rate monitoring (HAND-PULSE)
Use of the hand pulse is not recommended for persons wearing a pacemaker, a medical device of
extreme sensitivity which should be kept away from any nearby electrical and electronic device. For
those concerned, please discuss this subject with a healthcare professional.
Hand-pulse technology provides the user heart rate feedback in BPM(beats per minute). This is by no
means a medical device. It is designed for occasional or regular use. And not continuous. Use during
each session. Please keep in mind that even when resting, your heart rate varies continuously. How
it works: The heart rate is transmitted through the two sensors on either side of the handlebar. Simply
place both hands on the sensors at the same time. The sensor emits a small, harmless current(one
million of an amp), and variations in this current reveal your heart rate. This information is then
displayed on the console, in BPM.
It starts at 60 BPM, and is then filtered and the measurements averaged to provide better coherence
of the readings, with a delay of one or two seconds. We recommend:
1.
Placing your hands on the sensors occasionally for 5 to 10 seconds at a time while exercising
and not continuously from the beginning to end of your workout.
2.
Cleaning and drying the sensors after each use
3.
Moistening your hands to improve the reading
QUICK START
1.
Begin pedaling to start the console and your session
2.
To adjust the pedaling difficulty, turn the adjustment knob
3.
To take a break, stop pedaling
4.
To resume your session (within 5 minutes of the start of the break), start pedaling again
5.
Stop the session whenever you want
6.
The console turns off automatically after about 5 minutes of inactivity
TROUBLESHOOTING
1. CONSOLE
If the console does not turn on, replace the batteries with new ones. If information is only partially
displayed or "ERR" is displayed on the console, If ERR is displayed in the console, please remove
batteries, switch VM to VE, and KM to MI (vise versa), then switch back. Then assemble the batteries,
and switch back to VM, and MI to KM (vise versa) remove the batteries, wait 15 seconds and then
replace them. If the console does not turn on when you pedal or if the speed and distance seem
inconsistent, unplug it and check the connections your have made(console cable and connection
inside the tube).
2. DISTANCE
The speed and distances displayed are calculated based on a 16 inch bike wheel, at 60 RPM (1
rotate per second) you should be getting around 4.8km/h or 3.0mph. These values correspond to
average values on a bicycle.
3. NOISE
Unscrew the pedals by 2 turns, then tighten them again fully
Check the stability of the bike and correct it if necessary
Regularly check that all screws are properly tightened (include the saddle)
STORAGE
For prolonged storage, remove batteries from the console and position it in a clean, dry place.
