To avoid possible personal injury due to abrupt start of the machine, turn off the power to the
machine and check to be sure that the motor has totally stopped rotating in prior.

der Maschine aus, und vergewissern Sie sich vorher, dass der Motor vollkommen still steht.

Pour ne pas risquer d'être blessé par une brusque mise en marche de la machine, couper l'alimentation de
la machine et s'assurer que le moteur est totalement arrêté avant de commencer l'opération ci-dessous.

Para evitar posibles lesiones personales debido a un arranque brusco de la máquina de coser, desconecte
la corriente eléctrica de la máquina y compruebe de antemano que el motor se ha parado completamente.

1) Positioning the needle bar.
Tighten needle bar connection screw 2 in needle bar connection 3 so that the marker line of the nee-
dle bar aligns with the bottom end of needle bar lower bushing 1 at the lowest position of the needle
bar.
(Fourth line A from the bottom for a DB x 1, second line B from the bottom for DP x 17)
After the height of the needle bar has been properly adjusted, check that the needle bar does
not come in contact with the walking foot.
1) Positionieren der Nadelstange.
Die Schraube 2 in der Nadelstangenverbindung 3 so anziehen, dass die Markierungslinie der Nadel-
stange an der Tiefststellung der Nadelstange auf die Unterkante der unteren Nadelstangenbuchse 1
ausgerichtet ist.
(Vierte Linie A von unten für DB x 1, zweite Linie B von unten für DP x 17)
Nachdem Sie die Höhe der Nadelstange korrekt eingestellt haben, vergewissern Sie sich, dass
die Nadelstange nicht mit dem Lauffuß in Berührung kommt.

1) 針棒の高さを決めます。
針棒最下点にて、針棒の刻線と針棒下メタル
1 下端が一致するように針棒抱き 3 締めね
じ 2 を締めます。
（ＤＢ× 1 用...下から 4 番目 A 、
ＤＰ× 17 用...下から 2 番目 B ）
針棒高さの調整後は、押え外足と針棒が
当たらないことを確認してください。
