Fabric,
thread and
needle table
The needle and thread you choose will
depend upon the cloth being sewn.
The table is a practical guide to needle
and thread selection. Always refer to it
before beginning a sewing project. Be
sure to use the same size and type of
thread in both needle and bobbin.
The clothes can be of any fiber: cotton,
linen, silk, wool, synthetic, rayon or
blends. They are listed according to
weight.
Note: Be sure to use original SINGER
needle. Do not used deflected
needles or made by other ma-
nufacturer. We do not recorn-
mend the use of waterproof or
metallized fabrics. Metalic
thread may affect sewing
quality and cause the early
parts wear in your sewing
machine.
