Blind hem stitching
Blind stitehing is ideal for finishing hems, replaeing
manual sewing.
RECOMMENDED INITIAL SETTINGS
Pattern: Blind hem stiteh (letter C in the pattern
seleetor dial)
Needle position: Center
Stiteh width: Adjustable
Stiteh length: 2-3
Foot: Speeial purpose for blind stitehing
1. Fold hem and baste 1 em from edge (iIlustration 1).
2. Fold the baek of hem as shown in illustration 2.
3. Plaee folded hem under presser foot and adjust the
guide of the foot to the desired distanee (illustra-
tion 3).
4. Turn the cloth to the right side (illustration 4) and
iron the cloth.
