PNEUMATIC HOOK UP

For correct pneumatic hook-up, proceed as follows:
1) Lower the pedal (5, Fig. L) all the way down to avoid sudden opening of the clamps.
2) Connect the machine to a compressed air supply (with recommended operating pressure
of 8 - 10 bar) by means of the coupling (30, Fig. E) supplied as standard, using a 7 – 8
mm (internal Ø) rubber hose for compressed air.
WARNING!
The compressed air pressure must not exceed 16 Bar.

ELECTRIC HOOK UP

Before making any electric hook up, check to be certain that the mains voltage corresponds to what is stamped on the voltage tag
(attached on the feeding cable of the tyre changer).
It is absolutely essential that the system is equipped with a good grounding circuit.
The machine must be connected to a power supply line circuit breaker set for 30mA.
Note the required power draw as highlighted on the tag-plate fixed to the back of the tyre changer.
Check to make sure the shop electric wiring circuit is dimensioned suf-
ficiently to carry this.
WARNING!
Work on the electric system, even if minor, must be done
exclusively by professionally qualified personnel.
Manufacturer shall not be liable for any injury to persons
or damage to things caused by failure to comply with
these regulations and can cancel warranty coverage.
FITTING THE BEAD BREAKER ARM
1) Fit the washer (32, Fig. F1) on the bead breaker arm support (see Fig.
F1).
2) Fit the cylinder rod (36, Fig. F2) into the slot provided on the bead breaker
arm (33, Fig. F2).
3) Fit the bead breaker arm (33, Fig. F2) into the slots on the machine
body.
4) Fit the pin (34, Fig. F2) on to the arm and fix it using the 2 screws (35,
Fig. F2).
5) Secure the rod of the cylinder (36, Fig. F2) using the lock-nut (37, Fig.
F2).
N.B.: Tighten until the threaded part projects from the lock-nut by about 10
mm. (see Fig. F3).
N.B.: Tightening down or backing off the lock-nut varies the minimum gap
between the bead breaker blade and the tyre rest.
WARNING: To avoid crushing the tyre beads, the gap between the blade and
the rest must be at least 40 mm.
