3- Similarly, fit the screw into
the corresponding hole (see Fig.
U/2) and secure the peg by fully
tightening the relative screw.
4- Use the spanner provided to
remove the fixing studs from the
flange (see Fig. U/3).
5- Move the drive pin (1, Fig.
U/4) to the outside.
6- Place the flange on the chuck,
taking care to align the pins on
the flange with the slots in the
chuck.
7- Fit the special clamping hub onto the chuck (see Fig. U/5).
N.B.: The special MFC hub must be prepared as detailed in the table below, fitting any
shims required (2, 3 Fig. U/5) and fixing the cap (1, Fig. U/5) with the clamping
screw (4, Fig. U/5).
The threaded hub has a bayonet connection.
Turn the hub clockwise by hand until it mates with the pin inside the chuck
N.B.: You will realise that the parts have engaged correctly when the hub "drops"
vertically into the chuck.
Keep rotating until the spring inside the hub clicks into place.
8- Fix the flange onto the chuck by pressing the clamping pedal (3, Fig. G/1).
9- Use the gauge provided to measure the distance between two holes in the rim (see
Fig. U/6).
11- Set the same distance as measured on the rim between two pins on the flange (see
Fig. U/7).
12- Fix the flange in this position by fully tightening the grey screw (marked with the

13- Place the wheel on the
flange, fitting the fixing holes
onto the pins.
14- Clamp the wheel using the
studs provided (see Fig. U/8).
Tighten fully.
