4.3 - INJECTOR TEST
1 – TIGHTNESS TEST
Keep the injectors pressurized and disabled to check the sealing.
2 – CONTINOUS CYCLE TEST (PULSE + JET)
Keep the injectors pressurized and cyclically activated, alternating between sequential pulse and
sequential jet.
This helps in cleaning the injectors as it does not accumulates fluid in the test tubes.
3 – SINGLE CYCLE TEST (PULSE JET)
Conduct a jet cycle and one minute of accelerated pulse from 1,000 to 7,000 RPM in each injector.
The fluid accumulates in test tubes for flow verification.
4 – ACCELERATED TEST 1,000 TO 7,000 RPM (ACCELERATED PULSE)
Conduct a pulse cycle with frequency of 1,000 to 7,000 RPM in each injector.
The fluid accumulates in test tubes for flow verification.
5 – ACCELERATED TEST OF 1,000 TO 15,000 RPM (ACCELERATED PULSE)
Conduct a pulse cycle with frequency of 1,000 to 15,000 RPM in each injector, activating them
simultaneously.
The fluid accumulates in test tubes for flow verification.
IMPORTANT: This test should be used for injectors with electric resistance>3
If this condition is not respected, can occur failures.
6 – ACCELERATED TEST OF 1,000 TO 7,000 RPM (GAS)
Conduct a pulse cycle with frequency of 1,000 to 7,000 RPM in each injector.
Indicated for testing of injectors with large flow.
The fluid accumulates in test tubes for flow verification.
