7. TROUBLESHOOTING
PROBLEM
1. When the ignition key is turned
to «ON» the control panel remains
switched off without any warning sound.
2. When the ignition key is turned
to «ON» the control panel remains
switched off, but continuous warning
sound is activated.
3. With the ignition key on «START» the
control panel light is on, but the starter
motor does not run.
4. With the ignition key on «START» the
starter motor runs but the engine does
not start.
5. Starting is difficult or the engine runs
erratically

cutting
8. The engine switches off when the cut-
ting means is engaged.
9. The "Cruise Control" device does not
engage (activate)
10. The "Cruise Control" device does
not disengage (deactivate):
- by pressing the mushroom control (4.9)
- by operating the forward drive pedal

11. The battery light will not go off after
running for a few minutes work
PROBABLE CAUSE
The safety device of the electronic circuit
board has cut in due to:
– badly connected battery
– battery terminals crossed
– completely flat battery or eroded battery
plates
– blown fuse
– bad earthing to the engine or the frame

– wet circuit board
– battery voltage too high
– problems with the electronic circuit board
– insufficiently charged battery
– badly earthed
– starting conditions have not been met (

SOLUTION
Turn the ignition key to «OFF» position and look for the cause
of the problem:

If the problem persists, please contact your dealer.

cutting-means assembly.
– seat firmly on the seat (if the problem persists, check the
relevant microswitch)
– check that the grass catcher or the discharge guard are fitted
correctly (if the situation persists, check the relative micro-
switch)
- Press the reverse gear cutting consent button ( 4.7)
- Turn the ignition key to «OFF»
– Contact your dealer.
