Used instead of the grass catcher
when the cuttings are not col-
lected.
2. TOWING KIT

For towing a small trailer.
The safety device of the electronic circuit
board has cut in due to:
– battery contains electrolyte but is not
charged
– overvoltage caused by the charge regulator
– badly connected battery (poor contact)
– engine badly earthed
– battery disconnected
– no gas on the engine
– problems in the engine
– slack belt
– electromagnetic engagement problems
– cutting-means assembly is not parallel to
the ground
– inefficient cutting means;
– forward speed too high compared
to the height of the grass (5.4.5)
– collector channel is blocked
– cutting-means assembly is full of grass
– the cutting means are unbalanced
– the cutting means are loose
– loose bolts and screws
– release lever in position «B» (
– The lever does not move (inconvenience
caused by an accumulation of grass in
the discharge chute or cutting-means as-
sembly)
– the shutter does not close properly

Turn the ignition key to «OFF» position and look for the cause
of the problem:
– recharge the battery (
– contact your dealer
– check connections (
– check engine earth connection
– check connections (
– check engine earth connection
– contact your dealer
– turn the adjuster (
– contact your dealer
– check the tyre pressure (
– reinstate the alignment of the cutting-means assembly in
relation to the ground (
– check that the cutting means is fitted properly
( 6.3.1)
– sharpen or replace the cutting means (
– check the belt tension and the cutting means engagement
lever cable (
– reduce the forward speed and/or raise the height of the
cutting-means assembly.
– wait for the grass to dry
– remove the grass catcher and empty the discharge chute (

– clean the cutting-means assembly (
– balance or replace the cutting means if damaged (
– check the cutting means fitting
