OR LET IT COOL DOWN BEFORE REMOVING.
White Rice Setting - Traditional Rice Cooker
This program allows you to cook rice as a traditional rice cooker, with steam.
1. Place the removable cooking pot into the multi-cooker and add the ingredients.
2. Place the lid on the cooker; align the protruding pin on the handle with the
condensation collector (open lock symbol), and turn it counterclockwise until
the locking pin clicks into place. Turn the pressure regulator knob to STEAM.
3. Turn the dial until the GRAINS function is selected (the words blink) and confirm
it by pressing the dial. The screen shows the settings for this function to the
right. Turn the dial to the White Rice setting and press the dial to select.
NOTE: There is no need to adjust the time since the unit do it automatically.
4. Press the START/STOP button to begin cooking. The screen turns green, and
you see the cycle lines, 10 minutes of cooking time, the preheat icon on the
bottom of the screen and the preheating bar which shows you how far along in
the preheating process the unit is.
5. Once the preheating process is over, the cooking callout appears and the unit
begins counting down. After 10 minutes is up, the unit switches to Keep Warm.
You can now open the lid
Eggs Function
This function allows you to prepare your favorite egg recipes such as hard-
boiled and soft boil eggs, omelets, deviled eggs, egg salad, and many more.
For recipes, please see the cookbook included with this unit. Please note that
the Eggs function is a pressure cook function.
