They must, however, have the following technical features:

Sensor output
Signal level:
– object detected by sensor
– object not detected by sensor
The safety and muting sensors cannot be supplied with power by
the LE 20 safety evaluation unit.
If the wires for the muting sensors are laid outside the control
cabinet, they must be carried in separate sheathed cables
Relay module
The supply connections of the safety evaluation unit have two
semiconductor outputs (max. output current 0.5 A). If the switching
capacity is insufficient or volt free contacts are required, a relay
module with two volt free relay contacts can be connected.
