9 . Are the protection equipment units mounted properly and secured against
movement once they have been successfully adjusted?
10. Does the required protection equipment safeguard against
electric shock (protection class)?
11. Is the control device for resetting the protection equipment or restarting
the machine present and fitted in accordance with the regulations?
12. Are the outputs of the protection equipment (OSSD) integrated in
accordance with the required control category and does this integration
correspond to the wiring diagrams?
13. Has the protective function been checked in accordance with the notes on
testing stated in this documentation?
14. Are the given protective functions effective for each setting of the operating
mode selector switch?
15. Are the switching elements controlled by the protection equipment,
(e.g. contactors, valves) monitored?
16. Is the protection equipment effective throughout the entire dangerous
procedure?
17. Is an initiated dangerous procedure stopped when switching off the
protection equipment, when changing the operating mode or switching
to other protection equipment?
18. Is the daily check sign positioned in a place visible to the operator?
This checklist does not replace the first commissioning or regular checks
carried out by an expert.
